Sundance Institute Screenwriters Intensive
DATE: Saturday, October 26, 2013; TIME: 10:00AM - 5:00PM; FALL 2013
Led by veteran screenwriter Joan Tewkesbury (Nashville, Thieves Like Us), the Sundance Institute Screenwriters Intensive provides writers with tools to delve deeply into their characters and make vital discoveries to enrich their stories.
A new program from Sundance, the Screenwriters Intensive comes first to Philadelphia. In order to be eligible, applicants must be based in the Philadelphia area, and must be developing a feature-length narrative screenplay. We are seeking writers whose projects fit broadly into the Sundance model; specifically, films that are independent in terms of story and spirit, character-driven, and reflective of the writer’s authentic voice and personal vision. The Screenwriters Intensive is limited to twelve participants.
The Sundance Institute Screenwriters Intensive Fellows have been selected!
Deron Albright -- Leave Worry Behind
Michael Dennis -- Tupac Is Alive
