In this special two-part workshop, sound recordist Jack Mehlbaum will look at important considerations for field recording, particularly with miniDV camcorder productions, including choosing the proper gear for your project. The workshop will also look at some of the newest technological innovations for digital video sound recordings

This master class is geared for artists who want to incorporate multimedia (music, digital video, animation) into their performances or installations. Participants will create a short multimedia piece using the custom visual software developed by Sharif Ezzat, using images of their choice. Basic computer knowledge is required and experience with Photoshop is highly recommended.
