The animated psychedelic short tells the story of a brother and sister who are launched into reggaeton stardom, but the journey isn’t all glitz and glam. The pair have to navigate their new lives together as superstars in the music industry and try not to get torn apart as a cause. 

Q&A will include Nuevo Rico’s Philadelphia-based sound designer Josh Madoff and creative director Raymo Ventura.

Testimony: 52nd St. and the Invisible Violence of UPenn by Amelia Michelle Carter

UPenn employee Amelia tells the story of her experience during the May 31, 2020, police attack on 52nd St. After she finds out that university police participated in the crackdown, she reflects on the white supremacist conditioning that leads to complicity in the face of institutionalized violence.
