JT Takagi is a NY based independent filmmaker and a sound recordisst on documentaries, with credits on numerous PBS films including Stanley Nelson's The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution and Sam Pollard's August Wilson: The Ground on Which I Stand. Join JT Takagi for a workshop on approaches to audio recording and sound equipment for documentary video production, including working with DSLR cameras and new gear options with new low cost mixer/recorders and radio mics. Workshop participants are invited to discuss planned projects.
