This workshop is open to all young people ages 11 to 19.

Learn basic editing with Apple's Final Cut, an exciting and powerful non-linear editing program. This course will introduce the basics of the software and provide a strong foundation to get started from importing and logging video footage to editing and much more. Participants will learn to edit using found video footage in the public domain to create video mash ups. Basic computer knowledge is required.

Rodney Whittenberg is a composer, multimedia artist, educator, and president of Melodyvision . As a director he has made short TV segments for WYBE, WHYY and HBO Family and a few feature length docs. He has composed music for feature films The Camden 28, Return to Sleepaway Camp and, Infested and won a local Emmy for his work on the documentary film Mother Dot’s Philadelphia.
