Want to see what all the fuss is about? This session will give participants a chance to get up close and personal with The Red camera system, a high performance digital cine camera with the quality of 35mm film and the convenience of pure digital. Director/cinematographer Steven Soderbergh shot his latest film, Che, entirely on The Red calling it "the camera I've been waiting for my whole career.” The Red is not HD. Nor is it film. It might be best described as a SUPER HIGH Definition digital cinema. Get a general overview of how the camera works, its components, what it’s like to shoot with and then see what happens when RAW video shot with The Red gets transferred into Final Cut.
