Learn basic editing with Apple’s Final Cut Pro, an exciting and powerful non-linear editing program that combines professional capability with consumer-level accessibility. This course builds a strong foundation that gets you started with logging, capturing, editing, transitions and much more. Apple computer knowledge is highly recommended. Participants will be expected to edit assignments outside of class either at their own Final Cut Pro workstation or at Scribe.

Ryan Saunders produces documentaries, multimedia and web projects. His films include Bacchanal Time, a documentary on the Caribbean-styled carnivals in North America and Mother Dot’s Philadelphia, about the Philadelphia jazz scene, produced in collaboration with Malkia Lydia. He is currently the Technical Director at PhillyCAM.
