INSTRUCTOR: Jonathan Olshefski is an artist, interactive designer, photographer and filmmaker whose work deals with themes of connection and alienation in the context of urban life. His documentaries strive to unveil and celebrate a myriad of mysterious regions and inhabitants in the city, while his non-linear work seeks to inspire through interactivity the very spirit of exploration and compassion that is required to unlock these urban secrets. In 2010 Olshefski completed a MFA degree in film and media arts at Temple University. Today he teaches a variety of cinema and new media courses at a variety of learning institutions and continues producing his own work.
