Geared to beginners and those who want to refresh their skills, this workshop will teach camera operation, interior and exterior lighting design, composition and varied shooting styles and techniques. This workshop meets twice a week. Although not required, participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras, if they have them, in order to get the most from this workshop.

INSTRUCTOR: Videographer and lighting tech Carlton Jones has his feet in both the independent and commercial worlds. He was one of the first instructors to teach videomaking at Scribe. He has shot and lit numerous independent narrative and documentary films including works by Tina Morton, Nadine Patterson and Louis Massiah. And he made the documentary Paul Keene about the Philadelphia-born African American artist.
