We are pleased to use the occasion of our 25th anniversary to reconnect with artists who have played an important role in Scribe’s history. Cinematographer and cultural theorist Arthur Jafa (pictured right) will teach on Master Class entitled Visualizing a Black Cinema and film historian/archivist Pearl Bowser will present a program of handpicked, rarely seen films in African American Women on the Bandstand.
