Eve's Garden by Heart of Camden & Scribe Video Center
Founded in 2004, Eve’s Garden and Community Greenhouse gives residents the opportunity to have their own lush piece of paradise in the middle of Camden’s urban-industrial waterfront. The garden features a large greenhouse, vegetable beds, and even a hand-built cob baking oven that the kids helped construct from local clay, sand and straw. Residents and school children grow corn, pole beans, tomatoes, collard greens, potatoes, squash and numerous other hand-tended delights.
