Remember Chicago, 1968? Tens of thousands of anti-war protestors stormed the Democratic convention, setting off a chain of explosive and violent confrontations with the police. Well, now history has a new look. Film creator Brett Morgen will take you back to the infamous Chicago Conspiracy Trial with the bold and original animation, archival footage, and powerful soundtrack in his acclaimed film Chicago 10.

After the film, join in a conversation with Philadelphians from across the decades between 1968 – 2008 about youth movements and political participation moderated by David Farber, Professor of History at Temple University and author of Chicago 68.

Educators are eligible for Act 48 Credits!

Chicago 10 is coming to the Emmy Award–winning PBS series Independent Lens in October.
