Storyville
Storyville is Scribe's monthly screening series dedicated to showcasing contemporary documentaries produced by Philadelphia based independent film and video makers.
Storyville takes place the 2nd Friday of every month at
Scribe Video Center located at 4212 Chestnut Street.
Admission is $5 and screenings are free to Scribe members.
Philadelphia can boast a vibrant film and video community, but the city has limited venues for local independent work. We turn our main meeting space into a repertory space for contemporary documentary film and discussion. Storyville features relevant, engaging films presented by filmmakers, film historians, or community members combined with an discussions about the work and each of the films' subject matter.
